Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 700 students during the summer and fall terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. The following students have been awarded degrees since the summer 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

A total of 11,758 students enrolled during the 2016 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball roster has been finalized and the Engineers have two seniors, four juniors, six sophomores and two freshmen. RPI opened the season on Tuesday with a 77-45 win over Southern Vermont College.

Senior Ian Evans (Laurys Station, Pa./Parkland) became the second wrestler in University of Scranton history to reach 100 career wins when he went 4-0 at the Electric City Duals on Saturday in the Long Center. As a result of his historic achievement, Evans has been named the University's Athlete of the Week.

The University of Scranton's College Democrats and College Republicans clubs jointly hosted watch parties for the presidential and vice presidential debates. The clubs will also host an "Election Day Count Down" Tuesday, Nov. 8, to watch the election night results.

Alvernia is proud to welcome new students to its undergraduate population of 3,000 scholars studying more than 50 different majors at the university.

Formally known as CSC Riffed, Vocally Charged is Colby-Sawyer's a capella group and the only student run musical organization on campus. Members arrange music and perform at a variety of on- and off-campus events.
