Muhlenberg College is pleased to welcome the newest members of our community, including first year students, new transfer students and new School of Continuing Studies students, for the 2020-2021 academic year.

A total of 164 Bloomsburg University student-athletes have been recognized as Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes for the 2018-19 academic year the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. The 164 Huskies join a PSAC-record 3,117 student-athletes from the league's 17 institutions being named to the list. In order to earn PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition, each student-athlete must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25 throughout the year. The field hockey team led all of Bloomsburg's squads with 20 selections. Women's soccer added 19 with women's lacrosse following right behind with 17. Women's cross country and track & field (15), softball (10), and women's volleyball (10) also finished in double figures among female sports. On the men's side, football led the way with 13 scholar-athletes while cross country / track & field and men's soccer added nine apiece. To be eligible for the Dean's List, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three graded courses during a semester.

The University of Utah congratulates 8,465 students who recieved their academic degrees on May 2, 2019.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 5,000 students named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees for nearly 1,300 students for the Spring 2019 semester. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees following the spring 2019 semester. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honors distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Students listed multiple times have been awarded more than one degree.

Iffat Imran '20, a biochemistry major with a math minor, is conducting research at Muhlenberg College this summer.

High-level academic and athletic performance continues to serve as a staple of Kutztown University. On Tuesday, July 9, 174 Golden Bear student-athletes were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2018-19 academic year. Kutztown produced a school-record 181 honorees last year and valiantly backed that number up this year with its second-highest total ever. More than 100 Golden Bear student-athletes have earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition in each of the last 13 years. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher at the completion of the most recent academic year to be eligible for PSAC Scholar-Athlete status. The PSAC's 18 institutions combined to produce 3,061 Scholar-Athletes, totaling 42% of the student-athlete population. Both numbers break previous conference records of 2,934 and 41% set just one year ago. The league has registered better than a 30% rate for 10 straight years. From Kutztown, 127 female student-athletes were honored, more than 61% of the female varsity student-athlete population. Just under 25% of the Golden Bear male student-athlete population qualified for Scholar-Athlete status with 51 honorees.

RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

Gettysburg College students take pride in their work, and we are likewise proud to announce their recent academic achievements. Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List. The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2019 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Students have been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the spring 2019 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above.

Muhlenberg College celebrated its 171st Commencement on Sunday, May 19, 2019. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 502 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2019.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2019 at its 167th Commencement Exercises on May 18, 2019.

Nine second-year graduate students from the Master of Science in Forensic Science Program collectively placed first nationally on the Forensic Science Assessment Examination (FSAT). One student, Haley Melbourn, received the highest individual score in the country. The FSAT is given by the American Board of Criminalistics which is the primary certifying body for forensic scientists and the exam is offered as a means of program assessment for academic forensic science programs.

James Madison University is pleased to announce the students who graduated during the May 2019 commencement exercises.

Members of the Class of 2019 received their diplomas May 19 at Colgate University's 198th Commencement. Colgate Alumnus Antonio Delgado, U.S. Representative for the 19th Congressional District of New York, delivered the keynote address.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester.

Wilkes University Senior Vice President and Provost Anne Skleder announced the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, students must obtain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.

This spring, 395 members of Albright College's Class of 2019 earned bachelor and master degrees during a formal Commencement ceremony at Santander Arena, May 18.

A total of 1,520 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2019 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

The following students have been named to Alvernia University's Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.
