More than 200 students from The Crane School of Music at The State University of New York at Potsdam will make their collective Lincoln Center debut on May 1 in a performance of Giuseppe Verdi's monumental Messa da Requiem under the baton of Ann Howard Jones. In celebration of the 125th anniversary of SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music, the entire Crane Chorus and members of the Crane Symphony Orchestra will travel to New York City for the Avery Fisher Hall concert. The Department of Business at Elizabethtown College held their annual awards banquet Wednesday, April 11, celebrating the work of more than sixty students through several scholarships and awards.

"Lysistrata," written in 411 BC by Aristophanes, chronicles one woman's desire to end the Peloponnesian War by staging a sex strike. Elizabethtown College Theatre performed the famous anti-war comedy April 19 through April 29.

Lebanon Valley College has enrolled 1,631 undergraduates for the 2011-2012 academic year, including the largest new student cohort in the College's 146-year history.

Elizabethtown College Theatre presents "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead," Oct. 27, 28 and 29. "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is a modern classic by Tom Stoppard. The play tells the story of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" from the perspective of the Danish prince's sidekicks Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The play takes the stage at Elizabethtown College at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in Baugher Student Center's Tempest Theatre. Tickets for the production, open to the public, are $6 in advance.
