The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester.

Nearly 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Kennesaw State University recently named students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2018 semester. To achieve this honor, each student must have completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

Muhlenberg College celebrated its 170th Commencement on May 18, 2018. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 511 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

Seven Wilkes University students are serving in leadership positions for the 2018 summer orientation for first-year students. Orientation will be held in two sessions, the first on July 1-2 and second July 15-16. Orientation staff members provide guidance to first-year students by assisting in the transition from high school to college both socially and academically. Erica Mabry of Boyertown, Pa., who is serving as the residence coordinator. Francesca Varela-Seri of Stewartsville, N.J., who is serving as the residence coordinator. Harrison Eckert of Orefield, Pa., who is serving as the community service coordinator. Maverick Reed of Curwensville, Pa., who is serving as the Wilkes Adventure Education Day coordinator. Shyann Barrett of Danville, Pa., who is serving as the Blue Army coordinator.

East Stroudsburg University's Sport Management Club was the winner of Pocono Raceway's third annual Pocono College Tour. Four regional universities competed in the sports marketing contest to help promote the first NASCAR race of the season at Pocono Raceway. Teams developed marketing plans, completed surveys, worked with local businesses and planned an event to host Pocono Raceway for a day on their campus.

Members of the Class of 2018 received their diplomas May 20 at Colgate University's 197th Commencement. Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations delivered the keynote address.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester. CCU has a student population of 10,600.

More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the spring 2018 semester.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2018 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.
